All of them that you've listed have their own problems. As I said Star has been changing directions too much in the last two decade with non of them really paying off for her character and some of them being with some Being outright character destructing. Let me play the role of devil's advocate here and say the problem is DC's lack of attempt at giving her some independence and establish her on her own as her own character in a consistent direction in the last 2 decades that they haven't been together.
